SLGG Acquires Metaverse Ad Platform Bloxbiz

On 7th October 2021, SLGG announced that they have acquired Bloxbiz. It is a dynamic ad platform tailored to metaverse contexts whose initial deployment began in 2020. It allows businesses to advertise across major Roblox game titles while also assisting Roblox developers with revenue and analytics. Bloxbiz’s robust advertising platform serves over 25 million monthly active Roblox users across more than 75 selected, brand-safe games.

In-game advertisements are innovative billboards that enhance the gaming experience by allowing for spontaneous discovery without interfering with gameplay. Bloxbiz’s sophisticated technology validates viewability in a 3D environment. Lastly, it also offers aggregated audience geography, language, and device data, which is used to determine the effectiveness of the advertising.

PRG and Super League Strike First-Of-Its-Kind Esports Events Production Partnership

SLGG announced that they have formed a relationship to provide the esports community with a comprehensive range of event assistance on 13th September 2021. For the industry, the amount of engagement between PRG and Super League is unprecedented. The esports ecosystem is vast and diverse, as well as distinctly international. By combining major components and networks, Super League and PRG will be able to push past current esports event spectator experience boundaries, raising all touchpoints from gameplay to partnership inputs to live music to digital-to-physical engagement. Second Quarter 2021 Financial & Developmental Results

SLGG reported second-quarter 2021 financial results on 12th August 2021. According to the report:

  • In 2021, second-quarter sales hit a new high of $1.1 million, up 235 percent from Q2 2020.
  • Gross margins are still in a good state in Q2 2021, at 51 percent.
  • As of June 30, 2021, the balance sheet was also acceptable, with $31.5 million in cash on hand and no debt.
  • Pixel Paradise, which joined property Mineville as two of seven official Minecraft servers, debuted in July 2021 as the first-ever Minecraft Bedrock server devoted to role-playing.
  • SLGG also announced the purchase of Bannerfy, a creative monetization and ad technology platform that will complement our brand and advertiser offerings.
