Sprout Social Inc. (NASDAQ: SPT) stock gained by 1.11% at last close whereas the SPT stock price declines by 5.69% in the premarket trading session. Sprout Social is the company that provides comprehensive social media listening and analytics, social management, customer service, commerce, and advocacy solutions to almost 30,000 brands and agencies globally.

SPT stock’ Current Update

The Sprout Social Scholarship Fund will be established due to a $100,000 donation from Sprout Social to the United Negro College Fund (UNCF). This donation will provide eight merit-based scholarships for Black/African American college seniors who exhibit excellent leadership skills and a passion for computer science or software engineering. Scholarship winners will also be eligible to apply for an interview for a full-time position at Sprout Social, which will begin in the summer of 2022.

Selected college graduates will get an $11,000 scholarship to assist them in meeting their financial obligations while completing their post-secondary education. Sprout Social is also offering more possibilities for extremely competent students to join the industry through its relationship with UNCF.

Students looking to work with Sprout Social can sign up to join the engineering rotational program for recent graduates. Engineers are embedded in cross-functional Agile development teams as part of Sprout Social’s rotating model. Individuals work in a variety of engineering fields, including back-end, front-end, quality assurance, and mobile. Java, Python, MySQL, Cassandra, Hadoop, Elasticsearch, NSQ, Docker, Kubernetes, React, and Redux are among the technologies that engineers are exposed to. They collaborate with product designers and management to ensure that product efforts are effective.
