Quotient Ltd. (NASDAQ: (QTNT) stock gained by 6.99% at the last close whereas the QTNT stock price declines by 8.59% in the after-hours trading session. Quotient is a commercial-stage diagnostics business dedicated to developing technologies that alter the way diagnostics is done, with over 30 years of expertise in transfusion diagnostics.
QTNT stock’ Update
Dr. Christine Ginocchio has been named Chief Scientific and Medical Officer of Quotient Limited (CSMO).
Dr. Ginocchio received 241,544 performance-based restricted share units (PSUs) (the Sign-On PSUs), 144,926 Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) (the Sign-On RSUs), and share options to acquire 147,134 of the Company’s ordinary shares as part of her hiring. Such awards were made outside of the Company’s 2014 Stock Incentive Plan and were confirmed by the Company’s Board of Directors and the Remuneration Committee of the Board of Directors as a material inducement to Dr. Ginocchio having joined the Company as Chief Medical & Scientific Officer under the inducement grant exception under Nasdaq Rule 563(c)(4).
Dr. Ginocchio comes from bioMérieux/BioFire, where she was Senior Vice President, Global Medical Affairs. She oversaw the BioFire post-market research program, as well as BioFire medical education and training, and offered critical medical input for future product development. Dr. Ginocchio led approximately 150 laboratory experts in a core facility that delivered state-of-the-art diagnostic testing and research opportunities for 11 hospitals, including three Academic Centers, prior to entering bioMérieux/BioFire. She oversaw all aspects of infectious disease diagnosis.
